    How we actually use AI

    It’s our first night, so everyone is new. A 15-minute talk on how people actually put AI to use, at work, at school and at home, then three real examples of AI at work. Bring a friend and a question.

    What we’ll cover

    Night one is about what people actually do with AI, not what the ads say. It starts with a 15-minute talk on the ways people put AI to use at work, at school and at home, with the honest parts left in: what worked, what didn’t and what it cost.

    Then three real examples of AI at work, shown live, a few minutes each. You see the tool, the prompt and the result, and you can ask anything. The rest of the night is questions and time to meet the room.

    A 15-minute talk, three live examples, open questions, then social time.

How the community nights work

  • Community nights: always free.

    Other events may have a price. We say so up front.

  • One language per night.

    Each night runs fully in English or fully in Spanish, led by native speakers. Spanish nights start Thursday, July 1, 2027. Anyone is welcome at either, whatever language they speak.

  • Meet your people.

    Social time before and after the talk. Come alone and leave knowing a few people who use AI like you do.

  • Public information only.

    Nothing classified, and no client or patient details.

  • Photos.

    We take photos at nights. Tell an organizer if you’d rather not be in them.

  • Adults 18 and over.

    Family nights are the exception: kids are welcome with a parent or guardian.

Everyone follows the code of conduct. Read it.

Tell us the question you’d bring, in either language. Topics are set six weeks ahead, and the best ones come from the room.
